Kursusbeskrivelse:
Dette hands-on-kursus tager udgangspunkt i ”Ageing”. Aldersforandringer ses også på tænderne – ikke kun farvemæssigt, men i lige så høj grad af alle de forandringer, som tænderne udsættes for over årene. Tænder bliver ældre og ændrer chroma. Der findes ingen farveskala, der dækker alle alderstrin eller de farveforandringer, der over tid ændrer tændernes udseende.
For mange tandlæger er farvevalget en stor udfordring. Flemming Brandt bruger ikke farveskalaer på klinikken og anvender i lighed med Dr. Lorenzo Vanini kun A-farver. Derudover er det yderst sjældent, at han kun anvender én farve (dentin- eller emaljefarve), da risikoen for at ramme ved siden er al for stor.
Tandlæge Flemming Brandt har derfor udviklet sin egen teknik til at afkode farver, som du vil lære på dette kursus: Chroma-teknikken. Chroma-teknikken afkoder tændernes gennemskinnelighed og bygger på, hvor meget lys du ser ved gennemlysning af tænderne. Dette afgør sammensætningen af dentin-, emalje- og evt. effektfarver for at opnå den rigtige farvesammensætning. Ved denne teknik kan alle tandlæger lave pæne fortandsrestaureringer. Forudsat at man forstår at anvende de forskellige plastkomponenter i de rigtige forhold.
I løbet af kurset vil der blive vist flere eksempler, hvor Chroma-teknikken er blevet anvendt.
Hands-on-kurset tager udgangspunkt i at genskabe tænderne, som de ser ud fra naturens side. Formålet er derfor ikke at skabe flotte, hvide tænder, men i stedet at lave naturtro restaureringer.
Der vil derfor være fokus på farvevalg, tandform, mikro- og makrostrukturer samt mange andre små detaljer bl.a. incisalkanten med den incisale trappe og det incisale V, som tilsammen gør en afgørende forskel for det færdige resultat.
I virkeligheden er arbejdet med plast ganske simpelt og kan klares med meget enkle midler. På kurset vil du blive opdateret i brugen af kompositmaterialer, og dine kliniske arbejdsfaser vil blive forenklet. Du vil få en sjovere og langt nemmere hverdag på klinikken med forudsigelige resultater, der er æstetiske og langtidsholdbare.
